Supportive Independent Living (SIL) Minimize

Supportive Independent Living (SIL) Workers provide more intensive life skills training and assistance to Adult Protective Service clients who need a high level of one-on-one support to live independently in the community. SIL Workers visit their clients several hours each week to reduce isolation, accompany clients on outings into the community and teach them how to shop, cook for themselves and learn new skills essential for daily living.
