YCS welcomes student placements from universities, colleges and secondary school co-op programs. Students are oriented, trained and supervised by YCS staff to ensure a successful experience which will benefits students, clients and York Community Services.

Opportunities exist for students in the fields of medicine, nursing, social work, community service and developmental services, as well as those seeking experience in housing, lab support and administration.

All requests for placement require a statement of learning goals along with a resume.
