YCS has received approval and funding from the Ministry of Health and United Way to contruct a satellite Community Health Centre and Community Hub of Agencies at the intersection of Jane and Trethewey. This new site will offer an exciting range of programs for the communities of Weston and Mount Dennis. Five agencies will partner with YCS to provide dynamic services to community members, including:
Services will include counseling, youth and parenting programs, an Ontario Early Years Centre with parent-child and parent education programs, an Emplyment Resource Centre and full range of employment assistance programs, settlement and family support services and multilingual women's programming. There will also be a community kitchen and various community rooms available to local organizations, residents associations and self-help groups for meetings and other activities. Anticipated date of opening: June 2010
